The Children’s Home “is a residential care facility that provides both long and short-term services to youth 13 to 21 years of age who have experienced abuse, neglect, violence, abandonment, and/or are in need of supervised care.” Located in Cockeysville, Maryland, the facility has been operating for over a century and was in need of some sprucing up.
The Build Upon a Dream team stepped in to help. The idea for this segment came from ABC’s Extreme Makeover, Home Edition. Built Upon a Dream gave The Children’s Home much needed upgrading and made their dreams a reality.
Cox Roofing donated their time and services and installed new roofing on several of the buildings.
